Kuroky is on Puppey heels

And the gap to rank 1 isn’t far. The title of Dota best player of all time is held by [puppey] for years now. Kuroky lost back-to-back Grand Finals of the Majors in Shanghai and Manila in March and June of last year.

In his career, the German was part of nine different teams. As the captain of [team liquid] he has had the most success since joining in October 2015. It’s also the longest time Kuroky has stayed at a team. Before that he was playing for [virtus.pro] and [mousesports] amongst others.

And of course there was a time when the two greatest players of Dota 2 history played together: Puppey was the one who lured Kuroky into [natus vincere] in 2013. Together both left a year and a half later to form [team secret], one of the most successful Dota teams of all time. There they met with third placed s4 as well. But the trio only played together for a year, before s4 left to go back to Alliance and Kuroky to ultimately form Team Liquid.

Faith passes Arteezy and Zai

By the way, Kuroky isn’t the only player to shake up the all-time ranking this month. [faith] ([newbee]) passed [arteezy] and [zai] to become the sixth most sucessful player in Dotas history. The points he gained for the second place at The International rewarded him with that.
