Dota Ranking Movers of the Month

[kyxy] skyrockets 347 ranks up in this months Dota 2 World Ranking. The 25-year-old Malaysian joined [mineski] in late March. And April was immediately a good month for the team. Though they closely missed to qualify for the Kiev Major, kYxY and Mineski played well in some minor tournaments like the G-Guard Challenge and the Infinite Sky League.

kYxY rises to World Rank 525 with this effort. That is far from his personal best though. The Malaysian had the best time of his career in 2013 and 2014 when he was playing for [orange esports] and [titan]. A third place at the International 2013 and World Rank 17 are the highlights of his vita.

kYxY isn’t the only big mover

With 347 ranks up, kYxY isn’t the biggest mover of the month though. It’s [saintdelucaz] from [boom id] who rises the most – 845 ranks. The Indonesian won the Indonesia Games Championship which boosts him to World Rank 554, the best of his career.

There are even more players from Southeast Asia who can celebrate a great month: [ewe] from [execration] for example rises 719 ranks, [ramz] from [evos esports] enters the Top600 of the world with a plus of 595 ranks and [warriorsgaming.unity]s [kang] is now one of the 300 best players after rising 241 ranks.

This is the highest rising team of the month

In between is the whole team of [meow 111]. The german based, but mixed team, won the German Dota League in April. Since this was by far their biggest achievement yet, everyone on the team rises a few hundred ranks in the World Ranking. [ascendancy] is their best now on World Rank 481 followed by [broodka] and [sonic2] on rank 490 and [kal-el] and [b1ka] on rank 504.
