Asian teams dominated many tournaments in 2014 so it is time to look at the best players from the worlds most populated continent who played their part in this domination.

1. [iceiceice1]

[iceiceice1] is the current leader of the Dota 2 Player World Ranking and thus it is no surprise he also leads this ranking. The best player from Singapore played for both [team dk] and [vici gaming] this year winning i-league and Star Ladder Star Series amongst others.

2. [fy] and [fenrir]

[fy] and [fenrir] are now teammates of [iceiceice1]. They play for [vici gaming] for more than two years but just lately entered the world-class. Both won ESL New York and i-league for example and were runner-ups at The International 2014.

4. [super2]

[super2] joined [vici gaming] in 2013. He had left [team dk] just before [iceiceice1] joined the team. With his new team, [super2] advancved to the ten most successful players in the world.

5. [x!!]

[x!!] has played for [team dk] most of the year before he switched to [lgd gaming] at the end of August. With [team dk] he won the Star Ladder Star Series and the WPC Ace Dota 2 League. With [lgd gaming] he didn’t win anything yet but was runner-up at the National Electronic Sports Tournament 2014.

6. [lanm]

[lanm] retired from professional Dota in July. Until then he had a successful time with [team dk] – at the end he lost in the semifinals of The International though.

7. [banana]

[banana] is amillionaire since he won The International with [newbee]. From January to March however he played for [invictus gaming] and was runner-up at the WPC Ace Dota 2 League.

8. [hao]

[hao] left [invictus gaming] for [newbee] two weeks before [banana] did and thus is ranked a little lower in this list.

9. [rabbit]

[rabbit] plays for [newbee] as well but he joined the team after they had won The International. He was part of [lgd gaming] until the end of August who failed on the round of 8 at the most important Dota tournament of the year. Woith [newbee] however, he already won the World Cyber Arena and the IeSF World Championship.

10. [burning]

[burning] retired from professional Dota in August when he left [team dk]. Until then the Chinese had won WPC ACE Dota 2 League, Star Ladder Star Series Season 9 and the G-League.
