Dota 2 World Ranking is led again by Natus Vincere this month. But their edge is getting smaller: Team DK and Alliance are on the brink of overthrowing the ukrainian team.
[playerbox_natus vincere] [natus vincere] leads the Dota 2 World Ranking once again. The defended the top spot with a second place at Game Show League Season 1 and a fifth rank at the World E-sport Championship in China.
Their first predator remains [team dk] although the Chinese didn’t play any tournament since the International in July. A stronger opponent might be thus [alliance]. The Swedes are kind of relaxed since The International too but they will battle [natus vincere] this month at ESL One New York, World Cyber Games and probably the Starladder Season 10 finals too.
Let’s focus on the current ranking though: September was dominated by three big tournament, two of which featured more than $100,000 prize money. The i-league was won by [vici gaming] who subsequently jumped from rank 8 to 5 in the World Ranking. Their runner-up, [tongfu.ob] wasn’t part of the Ranking before and thus enters on rank 26 now. Third placed korean team [rave] improved to rank 28 and fifth placed [lgd.cdec] and [power rangers] to rank 34 and 19 respectively.
The winner of the World E-sport Championship, [evil geniuses] jumped from rank 6 to 4, their runnrer-up [cloud 9] made it to the Top10 for the first time in their history. One of the biggest improvement however was shown by [nvmi] who won the Game Show League Season 1 and are now on rank 25 of the World Ranking, just a month after the ukrainian team was created.
