The Challengers have ended, the 2015 WCS Season 1 Premier League is complete – and it shows a lot of new faces.

This years first WCS season is as well the first WCS season with a combined Premier League for Europe and America. Thanks to the new region-lock system only a handful of Koreans participate in this league – namely [polt], [forgg], [violet] and [hydra]. This leaves room for [naniwa]s comeback and a lot of lesser known player to get a piece of the WCS-cake. Each player below has already won $4,500. That’s a lot, especially for players like [kelazhur] and [astrea] who usually don’t win this much. In total there’s a prize pool of $217,000, which is more than in WCS America or Europe respectively last year, but less than in both regions combined.

The groups for the WCS Premier League have already been drawn, though we’re lacking a timetable as of now. Here are the groups (one line equals one group):
