Seven rookies and five former champions: We now know the 32 players that will determine the new champion of this GSL Code S and follow in the big footsteps of Royal Roader Joo ‚Zest‘ Sung Wook and almost Royal Roader Kim ‚Classic‘ Doh Woo. Here they are as trading cards.

To sum some facts up:

  • Four players out of the worlds best 10 is quite usual. It was the same number in Season 1 and 2 this year
  • [maru] is the youngest contestant once again just turning 17 years today – the oldest is [stork] who is 25 years old
  • There are seven rookies this season: [hurricane1], [avenge], [effort], [cure], [terminator], [hush] and [trust]
  • Five former champions compete this season: [dear], [soulkey], [classic (kdw)], [zest] and [dongraegu]. Also the defending WCS global champion [sos] and last years OSL-winner [maru]
  • [soo] was three times runner-up in GSL yet. Time to take the last step
  • [dongraegu] is the most experienced player with 12 seasons so far followed by [parting] (10), [maru] (7), [soulkey] and [rain (by.sun)] (both 6)
  • Each contestant has already won $1.427. but $66.612 await the champion
