MVP Phoenix just won the Shanghai Major Group A today on the first day of the Winter Seasons Final. The koreans took down both [ehome.cn] and Team Secret flawlessly, advancing to the upper bracket of the playoffs. There they will be accompanied by Team Secret, who beat [ehome.cn] in the deciding group match by 2:0. CDEC Gaming who lost to both EHOME and Secret drops to the lower bracket as well as EHOME.
MVP Phoenix surprises big-time at the Shanghai Major

EHOME was sent down to the lower bracket in the Frankfurt Major back in November as well but fought their way back to the fourth place. CDEC Gaming had also won their group back in November but later dropped out against Evil Geniuses and OG finishing the Major as the fifth best team.

The chinese team remains on the 10th rank of the Dota 2 Team World Ranking but has had mixed results since the Frankfurt Major. The disappointed the most at global tournaments like The Summit 4 and Gameshow eSports Cup, but won the ECL Autumn in December against other chinese teams.
EHOME was on fire at the beginning of 2016 winning three important tournament in just one month including the high paying MarsTV Dota League.
