Niclas ‚Niqua‘ Westergard leads our Movers of the Month in the Dota 2 World Ranking in March. The Swede jumped more than 500 ranks.
Niqua has made an impressive comeback to Dota 2 in March and thus is our Mover of the Month. The Swede joined No Logic Gaming back in February and returned to competitve gaming. Though it’s still a long way to his prime that he had with teams like Alliance, Champions of Summer`s Rift and [4 clover & lepricon], he started a nice comeback. Niqua improved by 597 ranks in March, more than anybody else.
The list of the Movers of the Month is a bit shorter this month. Due to not so many major tournaments, only a few well-known players made significant improvements in the World Ranking. One who did though is Boombacs. The former player of Arcanys now plays for Clutch Gamers and it’s already the best team of his career. With a third place at the Mr. Cat Invitational, he improved by 124 ranks in the World Ranking and is 474th now.
H4nn1 is one of the Movers of the Month again
Once again in this list is H4nn1. The German who returned to Dota as a player for Ninjas in Pyjamas continues his rise to the top. Last month he lead the list with a jump of more than 500 ranks, this time he is third with 121 ranks. This is owed to the fact that NiP only played one tournament in March. If they step up, H4nn1 will rise even more in the upcoming months. In his prime for Fnatic.EU he was the 18th best player in the world.
Last but not least we included two more asian players in our list: Crimson, key-player for the newly found team Geek Fam, represents his mates with a jump of 109 ranks. Abeng, who returned to Execration a few weeks ago, set a new high points-wise in the World Ranking and thus improved by 106 ranks.
