Gabriel ‚HeRoMaRinE‘ Segat has won EPS Germany for the second time. The 17-year-old is now the champion of both Summer Season 2014 and Winter Season 2013. He defeated the defending champion Tobias ‚ShoWTimE‘ Sieber in the finals at Gamescom by 3:0. Two Korean dropped out in the semifinals – surprisingly.

[heromarine] is champion of EPS Germany again. In the finals at Gamescom he defeated [patience] and [showtime] flawlessly by 3:0 each. By that he took revenge on [patience] for the semifinals of the Spring Season in which the Korean won 3:2. In the online group stage [heromarine] had already beat [golden] and [goody]. Just being 17 years old, [heromarine] is one of the youngest players ever to crown himself twice in EPS Germany.

His final opponent [showtime] was the defending champion of the Spring Season. He already had a hard time beating [golden] in the semifinals which lasted for all maps of the Best-of-5. In the finals however, he didn’t stand a chance against [heromarine]. [showtime] won the Spring Season against [patience] in the finals.

The two Koreans are allowed to compete in the EPS Germany because they live in the myInsanity-teamhouse in Bern, Switzerland. [patience] had won three out of five qualifiers but in the finals he lacked effort. He lost to [showtime] in the group stage and then to [heromarine] in the semifinals. His teammate [golden] barely made it to the finals as the eigth best player of the qualifiers. He almost won his semifinal against [showtime] though.

[heromarine] had already won the EPS Germany Winter Season 2013. Back then he defeated german legend [hasuobs] and [socke] in the finals. In the current World Ranking he is on rank 67, the best in his career. Compared to other german player however he still is number three behind [hasuobs] and [tlo].
