Hail to the new king: Evil Geniuses take the lead in the Dota 2 World Ranking in November. Former leader Natus Vincere drops to rank two. And then there is a new team in the top 10.

[playerbox_evil geniuses] The [evil geniuses] are the new leader of the Dota 2 World Ranking. They had been on rank 3 the month before but improved by winning the Star Ladder Star Series Season 10 and being the runner-up of ESL New York.

Former leader [natus vincere] dropped to rank 2 for the first time in their history. Despite a rather succesful run in October, the ukranian team was simply outperformed by [evil geniuses].

[vici gaming] is the best chinese team on rank 3 now. They won ESL New York and were fourth at the World Cyber Arena which made them jump up two ranks.

The winner of World Cyber Arena, [newbee], and [cloud 9] who performed well in three tournaments in October, gained three ranks each and are now the seventh and eigth best team in the world. Where som teams improved, others had to fall: [team dk] suffered from their inactivity (-3) while [fnatic.eu] (-3) and [mvp phoenix] lacked success, despite the Koreans winning the Korea Dota League Season 3.

New teams on the rise

The past months saw a couple of new teams emerging or succesful players switching teams. Now these new teams enter the World Ranking: The [secret team] is on rank 23 for now, [virtus.pro polar] enters on rank 59 and [team malaysia] on rank 69. Others like [sneaky nyx assassins] (+87), [hellraisers] (+52) and [execration] (+77) improved a lot.
