Choi ‚Bomber‘ Ji Sung is the new leader of the Starcraft 2 World Ranking in November. The 26-year-old Korean claimed the top by winning the WCS America Season 2. He is also the second oldest player on rank 1 ever.

[playerbox_bomber] [bomber] has reached the top of the World Ranking for the first time in his career. Winning WCS America Season 3 awarded him with the 6,400 ranking points needed for this success. He is the second-oldest player on rank 1 after [nestea] who was 28 years old back in October 2011.

The former leader [sos] dropped one rank and is second now. He would have been on the top still if he had made the playoffs in GSL Season 3 but he lost in the group stage to [solar] twice.

The second big winner of the new ranking, besides [bomber], is [innovation]. The winner of GSL season 3 improved by 14 ranks and is on position 5 now. It’s his best effort since June just in time for the WCS Global Finals. Also, [san] entered the top10 for the first time in his career after a glorious third place at WCS Europe Season 3.

Snute is the best foreigner

[snute] remains the best foreigner in the ranking. With rank 15 the Norwegian is now the best ranked foreigner since [stephano] in September of last year when he was on position 13 – despite dropping out as 17th in WCS Europe Season 3 and missing the WCS Global Finals by one rank.

The next best foreigners are [scarlett] (also the best woman of course, 26th), [sen] (27), [jim] (32) and [bunny] (36).

Amazing improvements by…

Some player improved a lot this month: [yoda] gained 54 ranks to #35, [heart] impoved by 22 ranks. [cure] gained an up of 35 ranks, [stats] made a jump of 29 ranks, [bly] 23 and [grubby] 20 ranks.

Besides [bly] re-entering the top100, [neeb] (86th), [check] (91), [ian] (93), [stork] (94) and [dark2] (96) are amongst the best 100 players for the first time.
